We have been learning about ANZAC Day by watching an Australian Gallipoli online resource. We have lots of questions that have come from seeing this and we have enjoyed writing about it.

Story Spine Sentence starters

Once upon a time... there was a wolf called Smiggle
Every day... she ate ten sheep.
But one day... there was no more sheep.
Because of that... she changed to cows.
Because of that... she ate so many cows that there were only chickens.
Because of that... she met another wolf.
Until finally... she had to fight for food.
Ever since then... she was a vegetarian.
The moral of the story... is don't be greedy with food.

21st Century Art

The children have been working on a piece of art using pastels, they section their paper into different shapes and then fill the shapes with images that represent the 21st century to them.
