Buddy Reading

Every week we do buddy reading with Rm 10, they are a new entrant class and have Miss Canning as their teacher.

Room 1 looks forward to this time, because it is fun reading to the little kids and it is also helping us to become better readers too. Sky thinks that it makes them happy and they are getting to learn new things. Arnav says " we get to learn about them too".

Class Reading Challenge

I visited the Book Fair at Alexandra Park today and picked up a lot of books for our class library. I have a Subway Gift Card for whoever is first to read all the books and review them.

The Fantastic Flying Book

Today Mr Walker showed us a book called the Fantastic Flying Books of Morris Lessmore. We had to sit down to see the book. Mr Walker read to us and I think it would be about a man that got magic powers and feel lonely and sad. Then I saw the first page, it was a sad story because the man is walking. Then we saw that he saw a book flying, he was so surprised and he felt so happy. He loves books and reading them. After that the story finish.
