Our water experiment

Today room 1 went to a the swimming pool and we made it a fun morning for room 1&2 non swimmers Mr Walker and Mr Rudd brought some supplies like Tin foil, pebbles, coral & shells.

I made a competition where you make a tin foil boat and fill it up with pebbles you count how many pebbles you put in it before it sank.

A lot of pebbles sank so when we were done we cleaned the pool.I could put 37 before it sank.

Follow had a little vacation he had heaps of fun

Now him and Action man are now sun bathing buddies

  3. Hi Samaria,
Im Rico and I'm from Mount Annan Christian College. I think that water experiments are fun and educational at the same time. I remember doing a water test like that as well. We made boats out of aluminium foil, and filled it up with as much sticks of wood we could get in until it sank. How do you think you could have made your boat better?

That looks like it was heaps of fun and it looks like action man found a new buddie! Why did you do that? Was it for an experiment or for fun or anything else?

  5. Hello,
My name is Ian, at school he did a water experiment too, I blew up two baloons and tied them together, our goal was to get it to float across the pool. What was your favourite part in your experiment?

  7. Hi I'm Laura and i'm from Mount Annan Christian College in Australia, This seemed like alot of fun. We did something like this with our class except we used little cubes instead of pebbles. We also had to make a boat that moved from one side of the pool to the other without us touching it. Then we had to make one that would sink really slowly. This was called the amazing race! Our boats were pretty good! Who had the best boat from your class?

  15. Wow it looks like you guys had GALLONS of fun (gallons?, get it?) At my school we recently had an assignment. Part of it was to make a boat out of whatever materials we could get our hands on. My boat crashed and burned (Not literally but still it failed pretty hard.) and to add insult to injury, the other two members of my group were away! So I had to create all the other components by myself in one day! What would you have done in this situation?

    Happy blogging.
