Bible play in the hall

Today the whole school had bible in the hall and we listened to a story about Christmas, it was on the topic of the lord's son being born. For me it was awesome, the host also said "Thank you for that nice welcome Henderson West, Henderson South, Henderson East no you're Henderson North School".

I learned a lot of stuff there was some comedy in it, but I don't think Spongebob was meant to be in the story nor the captain as well but there was, a person dressed in a fluorescent green top, leggings, skirt and jacket she was the star that led the three kings, the tree wise men and the sheared her characters name was twinkly dinkley.

The host choose the people to play Mary,  Joseph, the innkeeper, even the pillow, the sheep, the three wise men, the angel, the three kings and the door.

It was a very good play and even some of my old bible teachers where there, it was awesome to see them again, its also good to see that they look great, and I agree that they look fine.

I wanted to see more than what we saw but it was time for us to say good bye, but at the end of the day it was fun. At the end of the play we said a prayer then one of our teachers let use us to leave, then we went to our own class and our teacher then our class. The went outside and played for 5 minutes then went inside and did some work.

That's the end of my tale good bye

10,000 Hits = cake.

On Monday our room got some cake that was made by our teacher Mr Walker. The icing looked like it was jaffa tasting, the cake tasted SOOO yummy that I wanted another bit. The icing was really rich, the cake was covered in orange icing & the writing was made out of black licorice. The licorice said 10,000 hits! & the blog symbol was put in more icing. The icing was very, very, very orange. The cake was covered of M&M's & the cake had all of the colours like brown, red, green & blue.

If I'm making your mouth WATER well then I'm sorry. This is a post on a cake that our teacher made & as well as the cake we got it was also SPCA Cupcake day, & some people made their cup cakes.

This is what the cake looks like. I told you it was mouth watering. You can see the M&M's sctered all over the cake And the icing & the black licorice that awas used to do the writing

My Adventure learning.

Our school is doing Adventure learning and what I'm doing is stoats for my adventure. We  also need to create a poster about a biosecurity risk, like a pest like stoats or weasels. The weasels were brought here to eradicate the stoats and the stoats were brought here to eradicate the rabbits. The rabbits were carried here for extra food because they thought that the food will run out, but the bad thing about rabbits is that they breed quickly which means that the vegetation will go all rotten and we people need to eat some veggies.

The Museum trip

On Wednesday room 1, 2, 3 and some of room four went to the Auckland Museum. The first thing we had to do was get into our groups and my dad Hamish was one of the parents to go on the trip with us. After we got sorted we went on the bus, there were eight groups on one bus. There were sixteen groups so the teacher had to split the groups in half once we were on the buses we were off to the museum, my group, my parent and I on the party bus and the music was as loud as a boombox.

As soon as we got to the museum we stooed out in the cold wind. My favorite part of the trip was the volcano house because the house show whats is going to happen in a volcano eruption and it was like being in a real eruption.

My Eye-test by Sara

Today, kids were called up to do their eye-test, we had to go to Room8 to get it done. There were three stations to go to.  We had to sit down and then they tell us what to do like: "Please look at the chart and call out the letters". It was really hard because the letters were getting smaller at the end and they were hard to say them. When I got to the third station, my eyes were sore from all that light flashing in my eyes. When I finished, I got my light meter, a light meter is when you have to wear the light meter on your top and it records how much light you have been watching in a day.  You have to wear the badge all the time when you are awake, you have to take it off when you go to bed.
My eyes were sore but it was fun.

Story Spine Sentence starters

Once upon a time... there was a wolf called Smiggle
Every day... she ate ten sheep.
But one day... there was no more sheep.
Because of that... she changed to cows.
Because of that... she ate so many cows that there were only chickens.
Because of that... she met another wolf.
Until finally... she had to fight for food.
Ever since then... she was a vegetarian.
The moral of the story... is don't be greedy with food.
