Mini golf course in the classroom

Today we planned & built a mini golf course in the classroom. We filmed it for the latest #NZschooltimelapse project, this is the unedited footage.

We were learning about planning, building and problem solving. Also we got to demonstrate how well we can contribute & participate in groups and practise our thinking skills.

I'm eager for 2 room 1 students to edit this & put some titles, music & effects on the film, maybe next week...

Today we were working on instructions so some children got to play with lego, we're going to send this to the #NZschooltimelapse project.

My Adventure learning.

Our school is doing Adventure learning and what I'm doing is stoats for my adventure. We  also need to create a poster about a biosecurity risk, like a pest like stoats or weasels. The weasels were brought here to eradicate the stoats and the stoats were brought here to eradicate the rabbits. The rabbits were carried here for extra food because they thought that the food will run out, but the bad thing about rabbits is that they breed quickly which means that the vegetation will go all rotten and we people need to eat some veggies.

Today we had ICT it was so fun. We had to make a poster I did mine about the red vented bulbul. I finished mine in two mornings. I learned that the red vented bulbul eats flower petals.

My imovie

The things I’ve learnt so far about my movie is to organise first and find a really good book to do your movie about. Second is to be creative when your creating your scene,try not to use the same colour paper,make it colourful. I did it and it looked AWESOME!!!. When you are making a movie you can use paint, paper, and even play-dough and make speech bubbles or you can say the voice for the characters but that would be harder. If you’re doing speech bubbles check you spelling if you’re not sure to spell a word look in the dictionary or ask a teacher and a friend. Try hard to fascinate people with your work. Don’t make it to random because nobody will get it. Decide a good background and also choose a colour for your characters. You can even make it up, you can make it long, short, funny, silly, and even daunting. At first decide what you’re story is about and that’s all I’ve learnt with my movie.
